I promised my friend Danny van Elsbergen that I would create a showopener/intro for him. So I went on writing a script, gathered some voice-talent and started recording and producing. This is the result:
In 2018 I made this remix for the C64 and Amiga demoscene, which made it to 2nd place in the 2018 Remixer Of The Year – Amiga Remix category on Remix64.com and AmigaRemix.com. I’ve long toyed with the idea to rework/revamp one of my favorite modules created by Gustaf Grefberg (Lizardking), which is a very intricate track with beautiful chord-progressions, piercing leads and a wonderful chromatically progressing bassline.

Recently I got ‘wind’ of this plugin called Arcade by Output, so I decided to give it a try and started messing around with it. I was also just blewn off by a girl that I’m particularly fond of and she didn’t answer my feelings, and that kinda put me in a dark place for a short while. It however brought me to write and record this tune and put emotions and feelings into place. So yes, despite what you are used from me, this song sounds kind of dark and gloomy, and also it’s a step away from the usual happy tunes that I tend to make…
