For such a long time I’ve adored the music by Enigma (Michael Cretu). It was not by virtue, but by conviction I had to do this remix/rework of his most famous song Sadeness…
Armandox vs. Tiroler Alpensterne – Der Harmonikaspieler
Some songs are just asking for a different setting. “Der Harmonikaspieler” has that unmistakable melody and cheerful character, so I wondered what would happen when it met a proper dancefloor pulse. This version keeps a wink to the original while giving it a fuller electronic treatment: a firmer beat, synth-driven energy and a little more room to move. It is less about replacing the song than letting it take a detour through my studio and come back ready for an EDM crowd.
Robin Thicke ft. T.I. & Pharrell – Blurred Lines (Armandox RMX)
Every now and then a track comes along that has such a distinctive groove that I simply have to take it apart and rebuild it in my own way. “Blurred Lines” had exactly that spark: a tight rhythm, a familiar hook and plenty of room to give it a different electronic edge.
For this remix I kept the playful energy of the original, then pushed it towards a warmer, more driving sound with my own synths, beats and arrangement. It is my take on a modern pop track—recognisable, but with a little more Armandox in the engine room.
Armandox & Frank Sinatra – That’s Life
Armandox & Frank Sinatra - That's Life
In a moment of inspiration and while I was thinking about my late dad, DHM Segers, I decided to rework the track That's Life by Frank Sinatra (originally recorded by Marion Montgomery and others) and which was written and composed by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon. I did this in honour of my dad, who loved to listen to crooners like Sinatra, and also in honour of Frank Sinatra and the song itself
I re-recorded the track with my own more lean and open arrangement, played all keyboards, bass and drums and mixed in Frank's and "The Blossoms" vocals
I hope you enjoy my version of this nice swing/jazz tune that has a very down to earth and honest story to tell:
In a creative venture, I remixed Koto’s “Dragon’s Legend,” aligning beats with visuals from the classic Dragon’s Lair laserdisc game.
This project, remixed a couple of years ago for the 30th anniversary of the song, involved syncing my remix with scenes from Dirk the Daring’s adventures. The result is a seamless fusion of past and present—a tribute to gaming’s golden age and a celebration of the enduring power of music.

hEIN! – Wir Sind (Armandox 2023 Edit)
hEIN! wrote and produced 'Wir Sind' back in 2021. I did a remix or re-edit, if you will.
hEIN! is a friend and producer from Austria. I asked him if I could do a remix of one of his tracks, and he send me the stems for 'Wir Sind' which is German for 'We Are'.
So I added a few parts like an ARP2600 bassline and some other sequences which I thought would add something to the original track. Then there's also that punching lead that sneaks up on you once or twice. I hope you enjoy some electro techno from my music kitchen!

Lizardking – a Piece of Magic (The Armandox Treatment)
Just before the end of the year 2022 I remixed and reworked this Lizardking tune from the Amiga demoscene. Some eurosynth doskpop which you can also download for free:
I’ve remastered my remix of Jean-Michel Jarre’s Industrial Revolution: Overture which i made back in 2017 using mainly the Roland D-50 and TR-808 plugins from Roland Cloud
Lizardking – Lizardking’s Theme (Armandox Rework) official release
My track Lizardking’s Theme (Armandox Rework) has been officially released
In 2018 I made this remix for the C64 and Amiga demoscene, which made it to 2nd place in the 2018 Remixer Of The Year – Amiga Remix category on Remix64.com and AmigaRemix.com. I’ve long toyed with the idea to rework/revamp one of my favorite modules created by Gustaf Grefberg (Lizardking), which is a very intricate track with beautiful chord-progressions, piercing leads and a wonderful chromatically progressing bassline.
Kind thanks go out to Gustaf for allowing me to officially release this track!
Jean-Michel Jarre & Little Boots – If..! (Armandox Rework) remastered
I recently listened to this remix again that I made a couple of years ago, and I felt I should remaster it. Now it sounds much fresher and balanced.
