In a moment of inspiration and while I was thinking about my late dad, DHM Segers, I decided to rework the track That's Life by Frank Sinatra (originally recorded by Marion Montgomery and others) and which was written and composed by Dean Kay and Kelly Gordon. I did this in honour of my dad, who loved to listen to crooners like Sinatra, and also in honour of Frank Sinatra and the song itself
I re-recorded the track with my own more lean and open arrangement, played all keyboards, bass and drums and mixed in Frank's and "The Blossoms" vocals
I hope you enjoy my version of this nice swing/jazz tune that has a very down to earth and honest story to tell:
